The effortlessly beautiful Laura Marling is another of my loves and icons. Here's my illustration of her taken from The Mystery Jets song 'Young Love' which she features in.
And here is the super groovy song itself;

SMACK SNACK
I want to introduce you to a love of mine; Terry Poison.
I discovered Terry Poison on myspace in my first year of uni and instantly adored their electro pop sounds. I love girl bands and this one is from Israeli are described as 'electro glam sleeze' and base their entire image, music, public personna and stylings on a fictional character they invented called Terry Poison.
SMACK SNACK is their latest track and i simply L.O.V.E. it.
I love the band but most importantly I love Petite (French vocals and keyboards). She's le one in the Indian head dress and nude body suit.
OMG OMG OMG she is so amazing. She's like an ethereal doll, with her porcelain skin, flower head pieces and love of high waisted panties, she is so completely and utterly my icon and girl crush!
Her myspace bio describes her as the following: A forever fourteen year baby doll, is having her 9th grade party playing keyboards and singing preferably in the international language du l'amour. She's always a little heartbroken and dances accordingly. Petite often prepares sweet love letters that she wraps up into paper airplanes and sends out to the audience in hope of finding someone to take her home after the show.
I simply love her and I think she is amazing! And she so goes onto my list of awesome kittens that I love and idolise. Other kool kats upon my list are Katie Jane Garside, Kate Bush, Cyndi Lauper, Lucy and the Caterpillar, and old school Madonna.

I canny help it OK! I've gone gaga for ala Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga
When she first popped up I was like "eh? Who le hell are you".
I was suspicious of her. I don't even know why, but I was.
Everyone at uni couldn't bare her.
And I kinda didn't pay any attention to her.
Until I saw her on The Jonathan Ross Show and completely fell in love with her!
She was mental!
I do love eccentric people so.
And she too loved swishy tea cups.
I do like quirky drinking utilities.
I have a fine selection of le groovyest plastic cups.
My favourite are my orange dinosaur beaker and my luminous green ghost wine glass.
Anyway back to le Gaga, she sung awesomely live!
She was punky with this gruff voice and made the song way more interesting than the pop version.
And those screeching sounds she makes I love!
I do wish her record company would stop making her sound plastic and soooo overly touched up, like everyone else in the pop industry, and let her sing in her rocky manner.
She kinda reminds me a little of Courtney Love.
Her style is awesomely avant garde. If I had le money and le figure I'd happily throw on many of her attire and prance about.
She's so trashy, I LOVE it!
I do adore outspoken quirky felines who are a little bit grubby O
I'm not afraid to admit my love for miss ala gaga. She's my dirty obsession.
I love this image, fluff on le hair on la boob and hey on fluff on la muff.
I sooo want this look! I don't care how trashy it may be. I love knickers worn as an outfit.
And le My Little Pony hair, omg omg LOVE LOVE!
This is a girl after my own heart! I adore wearing giant bows in my hair!
If you don't already know I LOVE David Bowie, so I would either love or hate the copying of the Aladdin Zane flash, here I love it. Gaga looks stunning!
A wee bit of trash in leather. God I love.
This sequence at the start of le 'Poker Face' video is amazing. It kinda reminded me of Ghostbusters, you know when Sigourney Weaver gets possessed and becomes a dog, yeh that bit.
I'm gonna leave you with one of my favourite tracks of Miss Gaga "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich".

My Golden Mane
Hello and welcome to my new ginger hair.

I had grown so tired of my washed out black locks and decided finally it had to go!
I've been red before, but not orange.
I feel all ethereal with my golden mane, and quite Autumny. Although we are now heading into winter.
When I come to think of it, I am quite a fan of the red headed folk.
I have grown up being fond of cartoon characters such as The Little Mermaid's Ariel, Jessica Rabbit and Ginger from As Told By Ginger.
Lets not forget growing up with Cilla Black, what a character!
But my all time fave red head would have to be David Bowie as his alta ego's Aladdin Zane and Ziggy Stardust!
Here's a few of cool and impressionable golden maned kats I like.
1 Cyndi Lauper
My love and icon Cyndi! God has she made such an impression on me growing up. I always wanted to be just like her when I was younger. I adore her style and her singing voice.
2 Lily Cole
Now I am definitely not the biggest fan of models, they kinda all look the same and don't really have anything surpazz about them to wow me to like them. But Lily looks like an alien and I love it! She's ginger and intelligent and is starring in the fantasy surreal film The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus by Terry Gilliam who also made The Adventures of Baron Munchausen which I adored as a child. And she's going to play Alice in a film written and directed by Marilyn Manson about Lewis Carroll. This kitten is definitely awesome in my books.
3 Katharine Isabelle aka Ginger from Ginger Snaps
I love the film Ginger Snaps and Katharine Isabelle's portrayal of Ginger really captured me. I liked her dark kooky personality, and how she was thought of as the weird chick who got hot, but was still weird.
4 Kate Nash
Is Kate Nash ginger? I don't know for sure, but she definitely has the ginger twinge. People often say I look like le ole Nash face, and I've never really got it. I used to get annoyed by the comparison but it doesn't really bother me these days.
5 Hayley Williams; Paramore.
The little ginger rocker has really come into her own over the coming years. I kind of swing between not minding her to loving her. She kinda reminds me of a modern day more grungey Cyndi.
6 Florence Welch; Florence and the machine
I wasn't so keen on Florence when she first came around. Though as time has gone by she has started to grow on me. Her face still annoys me a little, but her style and music has grown on me like a rash.
7 Geri Halliwell aka Ginger Spice
My favourite Spice Girl, Geri was sexy and sassy, feisty and flirty, and I was always the one who demanded to be her in the school playground with my friends when we pretended to be the famous five. Even not long back in uni me and the gals was gonna dress up as The Spice Girls and she was still the one I wanted to dress as, union jack dress go go boots and all. Ahhh she was fab wasn't she! Though I much prefer her curvy than stick thin.
