Witch VS Ethereal

I am and will always be in love with gothic Witchy stylings and well.. everything that is Ethereal. Both are quite contrasting as one is dark and mysterious and the other is magical and whimsical, but despite that they both are kinda connected and complement one another. Wicca is a nature oriented religion, which ties both witch and ethereal together.

I spotted this super cute Kleenex advert which contains both characters:

Isn't it cute!

I love both witch and ethereal fashion stylings so much and simply couldn't pick one over the other. I do mainly dress more ethereal-ie than gothy but do want to mix both the stylings together more, as it creates a gritty pretty edge.
Here are a selection of fashion editorials where Witch vs Ethereal fashion stylings:

Little Red and Diet Coke

This makes me want to dye my hair red again!

I miss being red :(
Brown is dull, black was too intense and ginger makes me look like a giant blotch! I still have blonde to test out.
Hmmmm maybe I shall dye it red again in la summer?

I do adore the doll puppets Diet Coke uses for its advertisements.
They used them when they sponsored Ugly Betty which fits in with the pretence of fashion being 'plastic' and 'fake'.
Ahh I miss Ugly Betty.
Here's some of the awesome ad's:

Flora, Fauna and Merryweather

My mood this week has been very ethereal. I have unpurposely worn florals everyday this week. I think I have a wee crush on all that is naturey and ethereal. And this love has been fuelled by la Gucci 'Flora' perfume advert directed by Chris Cunningham; pure love!

And I found this image hidden in a folder of pictures I love and inspire me.
How much does it remind you of la Flora advert!
Tomorrow I am heading to London to attend a fashion show. La designer is Flutter By Daisy
(Natanya Waybourne) and she designs ethereal dresses for "broken dolls and butterfly people".
She is super super cool and I am just a wee bit excited to see la show!
Below is an illustration I did of Natanya in one of her ever soo pretty dresses.
I think its cute but then again, I did draw it :)

I'm now ever so sleepy. Bed time one thinks. Sweet dreams one and all!

Bring on the trumpets!

Simply charming wee little advert.
